Many people find themselves in the predicament of not having been to the eye doctor in years. For many, it’s an out of sight, out of mind situation. They don’t notice a change in their eyesight, they don’t have issues with their eyes, like dry eyes, and so they simply forget about it. Or, given todays healthcare climate, maybe not having vision insurance keeps people away.
It’s understandable and we totally get it. However, we want to state the importance of routine eye exams not only for the health of your eyes, but for the overall health of your body. When you have a routine eye exam, including dilation of the eyes, it allows us to evaluate your overall health.
